Ice maker overfills and cause water to flow into ice dispenser and freezes ?

Ice maker over fills.This is mostly due to faulty water inlet valve.The valve is located at lower back bottom of your refrigerator.
If this valve remains stuck open, the water will not stop and over fill and then leak.
But if you replace the valve and still the same problem is noticed, then problem is faulty ice maker, it has to be replaced.

The water is Approx $20 to $25 part.And ice maker cost more then $100.

Replacing ice maker assembly on most of the refrigerator is not very difficult and procedure is near to same.But not exactly same.On some models there is clips holding the parts and on some models there are screws holding parts.Many a times screws are hidden and difficult to see.
